Bill Cullum Invitational Final Results in PDF Format

Utah State's Tyson McFarland shot a final round 73 to finish tied for sixth-place with a one-under 143 at the Cal State Northridge hosted Bill Cullum Invitational held here at the Wood Ranch Golf Course.

Utah State shot an eight-over 296 Tuesday to finished tied for eighth out of 15 teams with a 29-over 893 after beginning the tournament with a 21-over 309, followed by an even-par 288. UC Riverside won the team championship with a seven-over 871 (298-286-287) and Cal State Northridge's Nick Delio shot a final round 67 to take medalist honors with an eight-under 208 (72-69-67).

McFarland, a senior from Rexburg, Idaho began the tournament with a one-over 73 and then carded a three-under 69 during his second 18-holes. Overall, McFarland was four-under on the par 5's during the tournament to go along with 38 pars.

Sophomore Brendan Dennis (Roosevelt, Utah) finished tied for 22nd for Utah State with a five-over 221 (74-72-75), while junior Chanse Godderidge (Smithfield, Utah) tied for 30th with a seven-over 223 (79-71-73). Senior Benjamin Schilleman (Layton, Utah) tied for 71st with a 21-over 237 (84-78-75) and junior Austin French (Idaho Falls, Idaho) was 82nd with a 26-over 242 (83-76-83).

Senior Thad Truman (Blackfoot, Idaho) also competed for Utah State as an individual and tied for 88th with a 29-over 245 (80-82-83).

The Bill Cullum Invitational concludes Utah State's fall schedule.
