Utah State's men and women's cross country teams each moved up in the Mountain Regional Team Rankings announced Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). USU's men cracked the top 10 moving up from the 13th to ninth spot, while the women's team improved one spot from 13th to 12th.
Four other Mountain West men's teams who are ranked in the regional poll include New Mexico (3rd), Air Force (5th), Colorado State (6th) and Wyoming (11th).
The Aggie women are one of six Mountain West teams to be ranked in the top-15 in the region. USU is joined by New Mexico (1st), Wyoming (5th), Colorado State (7th), Air Force (9th) and Nevada (11th).
Utah State cross country competes next at the NCAA Mountain Regionals in Albuquerque, N.M. on Friday, Nov. 14.
