Post-Game Quotes
Wayland Baptist - Dec. 27, 2014 Utah State Head Coach Stew Morrill:
"The best thing about that is that it's our after-Christmas game after four days off and it's a win and it's over. They were 11-1, ranked nationally as an NAIA team. They came in and played hard and gave us some problems. I didn't think we played with nearly enough emotion. We need more guys playing like Sean Harris. We need more guys playing with that kind of emotion, effort and heart. We need more guys talking and we need more enthusiasm. We can't play flat, there's no excuse for being flat."
Utah State Senior Forward Sean Harris:
"It feels nice tonight. It was fun to get out there and play, get some tip-ins and make a couple post moves. It was fun to get in there and provide some help off the bench. That's something big that we've been stressing this whole year. We haven't had a lot of bench scoring. That's something that we've been trying to do. Over the break I was getting in the gym and getting some extra shots in on my own."
Wayland Baptist Head Coach Matt Garnett:
"It was good for our team to get to come up here and play in this environment. Coach Morrill does some really good things with this team. It's a positive experience for us. We can go home and get better to build through our conference play. We appreciate the opportunity to be here and we feel good about moving forward."
