Union (Tenn.) at Utah State Game Notes
• Union (Tenn.) is one of five first-time opponents for the Aggies this season, joining Adams State, Duke, Missouri State and North Dakota State.
• Union (Tenn.) is the second straight Division II opponent for Utah State this season. The Aggies are 34-5 all-time against Division II opponents in the regular season.
• Union head coach David Niven is the brother-in-law to Utah State head football coach Matt Wells.
• Utah State will begin its 46th season of playing in the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum and has compiled an overall mark of 543-125 (.813) over that span.
• Utah State has had seven coaches post three consecutive victories in their first year of coaching over their first three games, including E. Lowell Romney (5),D. D. Young (5), H. B. Lee (3), H. Cecil Baker (4), Ladell Anderson (8), Dutch Belnap (3) and Stew Morrill (5).
• Ladell Anderson holds the longest winning streak among first-year head coaches in Utah State history, picking up victories in each of the first eight games of his inaugural season in 1961-62.
• Utah State's 34 points from the bench against Weber State in the season opener are the most since the Aggie reserves scored 34 against San José State on January 4, 2014.
• Utah State's bench has recorded more points than their opponents' reserves in both games this season. The Aggies hold a 61 to 35 advantage in bench scoring after two games.
• Utah State has posted 82 first-half points to the opposition's 59 so far this season. The Aggies have out-scored their opponent by an average of 11.5 points in the first half over the first two games of the season.
• Utah State has outrebounded both of its opponents this season and hold a plus-9 advantage on the boards so far during the 2015-16 campaign. The Aggies out-rebounded the opposition only six times during the 2014-15 season.

Union University is located in Jackson, Tenn., and is a private Christian university that was founded in 1823. The University offers more than 100 programs of study and has a student population of around 4,000. Union is a member of the Gulf South Conference and a member of NCAA Division II.
Scouting Union (Tenn.)
Union enters the contest on Friday night with an overall record of 3-0 and will be treating the game as an exhibition, much like Adams State on Tuesday night. The Bulldogs have posted victories over LeMoyne-Owen (67-60), Spring Hill College (82-67) and Central Baptist (101-98 (OT)) so far this season.
UU is led in scoring by senior guard Marterrace Brock with 18.3 points per game, shooting 18-of-50 (.360) from the floor and a team-best 15-of-21 (.714) from the free throw line. He is followed by senior guard Jordan Montgomery with 16.0 points per game, serving as the team's best long-distance threat with 10 3-point shots on the year. The Bulldogs are rounded out by two more double-digit scorers in senior guard Roy Bullock (13.3 ppg) and senior forward Serigne Mboup (10.0 ppg). Mboup also paces the Bulldogs on the glass, averaging 7.3 rebounds per outing.
As a team, Union has shot 42.4 percent (84-of-198) from the floor, including 44.2 percent (34-of-77) from behind the 3-point line, while shooting 69.6 percent (48-of-69) from the free throw line. Opponents have shot 47.5 percent (85-of-179) against the Bulldogs, including 41.9 percent (26-of-62) from behind the 3-point line and 59.2 percent (29-of-49) from the free throw line.
