LOGAN, Utah - Utah State's track & field teams are slated to travel to Bozeman, Mont., for the Montana State Dual Meet Invite on Friday, Jan. 19. The one-day event will feature USU, Idaho State, Montana and the host school Montana State.
Action is slated to begin at 11 a.m., at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse with the men's and women's weight throws and men's and women's long jump. The day concludes at 3:05 p.m., with the women's and men's 4x400-meter relay.

Last week, the Aggies captured 11 event titles at the Boise State-hosted Ed Jacoby Invite, including a school-record effort in the shot put by junior Brenn Flint with a throw of 15.71m (51-6.50). Junior Kashley Carter won the 3,000m race and anchored the winning distance medley relay team. Senior Dillon Maggard won the 800m, before following in Carter's footsteps and anchoring the men's DMR team to a title.
Utah State's men's DMR team of Maggard, seniors Clay Lambourne and Jordan Beutler with sophomore Samuel Coleman own the fastest time in the nation so far this year, clocking in at 9:48.22, which is also the third-best time in USU history.
