Post-Match Quotes
USU head coach Sean McInerney:
On the match:
"Idaho State came in and played very well against us. We're still getting some people playing up to a level that we need them to play at, but I was happy with how we found a way to win. A win is a win in college. So, we'll take that and we're excited to get on a flight now, head to Arizona and go from there. All credit to Idaho State. They came in here and played really hard. We're lucky to get out of here with a win."
On who stood out from the match:
"Sabrina Demerath and Sophia (Haleas) played very well today. It was nice to see those players play how we know they can play. It was good to see them play that smart that consistent."
USU sophomore Sophia Haleas:
On getting the match-clinching point:
"It honestly felt really good because this is my first college match back for my sophomore year. I worked really hard to show the results."
On getting the win as a team:
"It felt great. I loved playing today, and it felt great to win."
