LOGAN, Utah – Utah State's golf team will conclude its fall schedule this week at the Cal State Northridge-hosted Bill Cullum Invitational. The two-day, 54-hole tournament will be held at The Wood Ranch Golf Club in Simi Valley, Calif.
The tournament, which gets underway at 9 a.m. (MT) on Monday, Oct. 14, will play at par-72 over the 6,849-yard layout. Teams will play two rounds Monday and the final round Tuesday.
Thirteen teams are slated to compete in this year's tournament: Cal Poly, Cal State Northridge, Grand Canyon, Sacramento State, San Diego State, Southern Utah, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, UC San Diego, UC Santa Barbara, Utah State and Weber State, along with 35 individuals to make a 100-man field.

Chase Lansford (Colleyville, Texas), juniors
Colten Cordingley (Rexburg, Idaho) and
Andy Hess (Idaho Falls, Idaho) and sophomore
Cameron Tucker (Ogden, Utah).
In its last competition, Utah State finished tied for sixth out of 12 teams at the Colorado-hosted Mark Simpson Invitational with a 16-under-par 848 (281-279-288) as Cordingley tied for eighth individually at 8-under-par 208 (67-69-72), which is his best-ever 54-hole score and tied for his best-ever tournament finish.
At last year's CS Northridge Invitational, Utah State finished in fifth place in the 17-team field at 2-over 866 (296-287-283). Individually, Cordingley tied for eighth with a 3-under 213 (71-72-70), Hess tied for 17th place at even-par 216 (76-70-70), Tucker tied for 34th place at 4-over 220 (74-72-74), Lansford tied for 45th place at 6-over 222 (75-73-74) and Eckert tied for 62nd place at 10-over 226 (81-76-69).
At the 2017 CS Northridge Invitational, Utah State won the tournament with a 16-under 848 (291-276-281) as Eckert tied for sixth at 4-under 212 (69-69-74), Hess tied for 12th at 2-under 214 (74-69-71), Lansford tied for 12th at 2-under 214 (76-69-69) and Cordingley tied for 41st at 6-over 222 (75-74-73).
At the 2016 CS Northridge Invitational, Utah State finished fifth out of 15 teams at 4-under 860 (287-282-291) as Lansford tied for 43rd at 3-over 219 (76-72-71) and Eckert tied for 53rd at 5-over 221 (75-71-75).
Through three tournaments this fall, Hess leads the Aggies with a stroke average of 71.22, followed by Lansford (71.67), Cordingley (71.78), Tucker (75.22), freshman
Gabe Hunter (77.00) and Eckert (77.33).
