LOGAN, Utah- Utah State women's tennis will return to the courts this weekend to participate in the Washington State Invitation in Pullman, Wash.
The tournament will begin on Friday, Oct. 4, and will go through Sunday, Oct. 6.
Utah State enters the weekend after a successful run at the Idaho State Invitational, Sept. 20-22. Teammates Hannah Jones and Sidnee Lavatai claimed the doubles championship title in Pocatello, Idaho, defeating Idaho State's duo of Megan Poe and Hristina Cvetkovic 6-2.Â
Lucy Octave also made it to the championship match for singles, but lost to Boise State's Vanessa Timm in a tiebreak in the third set 6-2, 1-6, 8-10.Â
