LOGAN, Utah – Utah State women's tennis continues a season-long 10-match road trip as they will head to Omaha, Neb., where they will face Creighton (4-9, 1-2 Big East) on Friday, March 23, at 5 p.m. (MT) and North Dakota (9-7, 2-0 Summit) on Saturday, March 24, at 1 p.m. (MT) at the Hanscom Indoor Tennis Center.

"It's nice we get to play a couple of programs that we don't compete against often," said head coach Sean McInerney. "We are excited to play two solid programs that will challenge us as we finish our final preparations for conference play starting in April."

Utah State (7-7, 0-0 MW) is led by freshman Sidnee Lavatai with a 9-3 mark in dual matches, playing mostly at the No. 6 spot, while sophomore Alexandra Pisareva is 6-2. In doubles, the duo of Lavatai and Pisareva, as well as junior Lucy Octave and freshman Annaliese County, are both 6-3.

Junior Hannah Jones is two wins shy of 100 combined singles and doubles wins and currently ranks 8th all-time in program history. Jones is also tied for fifth in total singles wins (60) and 12th in total doubles wins (38).

This will be the first meeting between USU and Creighton as the Bluejays are 4-9 on the season. Creighton is led by Sarah Wilcox, who is 5-5, while the doubles team of Wilcox and Ashley Ishimura sit at 6-5 at the No. 1 spot.

The Aggies and Fighting Hawks have met twice, with USU winning both matches. North Dakota is 9-7 on the season and have won a season-high three-straight matches. Preethi Kasilingam became the first Fighting Hawk, men or women, to record 100-career wins as she recorded the mark last week in their 5-2 victory against Oral Roberts.
