LOGAN, Utah – Utah State women's tennis (9-9, 0-2 MW) will return home after a 10-match road trip and face Wyoming (11-6, 1-1 MW) on Friday, April 12, at 11 a.m., and Colorado State (7-8, 0-3 MW) on Sunday, April 14, at 10 a.m.

"It is nice to be home playing two very good conference teams," said head coach Sean McInerney. "Wyoming is year in and year out one of the best programs in the league. They are coached and always ready to compete, so it should be a great opportunity for us to see where we are heading into the conference tournament."

Utah State is led by freshman Sidnee Lavatai with a 10-5 mark in dual matches, including 9-3 at the No. 6 spot, while sophomore Alexandra Pisareva is 9-2. In doubles, the duo of Lavatai and Pisareva are 8-3.

Junior Hannah Jones is three wins shy of sole possession of seventh place on the all-time career combined wins list as she has recorded 102 career wins.

The Aggies will be looking for their first win against Wyoming as the Cowgirls have won all seven meetings dating back to 2006. Wyoming is led by Elisa Koonik, who is 11-4, including 8-2 at the No. 2 spot, while the doubles tandem of Maria Oreshkina and Ana Royo are 9-5 overall.

Utah State and Colorado State are tied, 8-8 in the series, and the Aggies have won the last five meetings, including most recently a 5-1 win in Fort Collins. In singles, Colorado State's Nancy Ghanem is 10-3 at the Nos. 2-4 spots. In doubles, Stella Cliffe and Emily Kolbow lead the Rams with an 6-3 mark overall.

"Colorado State is much improved this season and playing well," McInerney said. "Both these teams will present a great challenge and we are looking forward to it."
