LOGAN, Utah – Utah State football student-athletes performed better than ever in the classroom during the 2019 fall semester. More than 110 Aggies combined for a 3.03 grade-point-average, the highest GPA ever on record.
Of the 113 football student-athletes, 74 of them had a GPA of 2.8 or higher, including nine with a perfect 4.0, and 14 seniors have already graduated.
The nine Aggies who posted 4.0s included
Pierce Callister,
Nick Heninger,
Cooper Legas,
Chase Nelson,
Brandon Pada,
Jake Pitcher,
Ty Shaw,
Addison Trupp and
Christopher Unga.
Utah State concluded the 2019 season with an appearance in the Tropical Smoothie Cafe Frisco Bowl. The Aggies went 7-6 this year, including 6-2 in league play to place third in the Mountain Division.
