Meet Notes

LOGAN, Utah –
Utah State's gymnastics team is set to welcome UC Davis to the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum on Friday, Feb. 28. The non-conference dual meet begins at 7 p.m.

The Aggies (5-6-1) come into Friday's meet fresh off of recording the second-best score in school history last weekend at the Boise State quad meet, which also included UCD (9-7). Utah State notched a season-high 196.800 to tie the Broncos for first place, while the UC Davis Aggies captured third place with a 195.850.

"We are looking to just continue building on the momentum we have been creating," said third-year USU head coach Amy Smith. "It is so cool that they're starting to see how good they are, and we should go 197. We are a 197-team, and I'm excited about the opportunity to get back home, get in front of our crowd in the Spectrum and do just that."

Friday's dual meet will be streamed live on the Mountain West Network as a USU Athletics Production. Additionally, live stats will be available online at utahstateaggies.com and meet updates will be provided through the team's social media outlets.

"I am so excited to be back at home," Utah State junior Taylor Dittmar said after recording a career-high 9.925 on the beam last weekend. "I'm going to bring this same exact routine back home. I'll put in the work at the gym and have that same mindset at home."

The Aggies are ranked No. 30 in the nation with a national qualifying score (NQS) of 195.535. USU is 33rd on both vault (48.870) and bars (48.800), tied for 22nd on beam (49.010) and 29th on floor (49.025).

Utah State is tied for 22nd nationally on beam with an NQS of 49.010. The Aggies recorded a school-record 49.575 at the BSU quad meet. Junior Autumn DeHarde and freshman Sofi Sullivan led the way with matching 9.950s to tie for first on the event.

DeHarde ranks first in the conference and is tied for 16th nationally with an NQS of 9.895, while Sullivan ranks second in the MRGC and is tied for 29th nationally with an NQS of 9.875.

UC Davis is currently ranked No. 43 in the nation with a 194.305 NQS. The Aggies' highest ranking is 42nd on floor (48.650). UCD had a season-high score of 195.850 last weekend at BSU.

Alyssa Ito leads UC Davis on beam as she is tied for 75th nationally with an NQS of 9.825 and season average of 9.641, including a high of 9.925.

The USU Aggies are 5-2 all-time against the UCD Aggies, including 2-0 at home, 1-1 on the road and 2-1 at a neutral site.

Following Friday's meet, the Aggies will close out the home portion of their schedule when they welcome in-state rival BYU to theSpectrum on Friday, March 6, at 7 p.m., for an MRGC dual meet.
