NORTHRIDGE, California --- Utah State women's tennis wrapped up play at the CSUN Invitational on Saturday. Senior Annaliese County completed an undefeated weekend in singles play, defeating UC Irvine's Dasee Carter, 6-3, 7-6 (4), in the championship match of the Singles C draw.

County's championship victory followed wins in earlier rounds over Youngstown State's Elisa Rigazio (5-7, 7-5, 6-3), New Mexico's Toriumi (6-4, 6-1), and Cal State Fullerton's Indya Nespor (6-4, 7-6 (4)). County finishes the tournament having gone 4-0 in singles play. County also claimed a consolation championship in doubles play on Saturday playing alongside Dekkers, going 2-1 for the weekend.

Elsewhere in the consolation brackets of singles play, junior Carolina Millan defeated Youngstown State's Julia Marko in imposing fashion, 6-2, 6-0. Freshman Brooke Demerath also leaves California on a high note after defeating CSLA's Savaughna Mayo, 6-2. Junior Zeynep Naz Ozturk and senior Gabrielle Dekkers each lost their final match, 6-2, 6-2, versus Cal State Fullerton's Juliette Daries and New Mexico's Satoho Toriumi, respectively.

The CSUN Invitation concludes Utah State's fall tournament season as the team will now prepare for its dual match season this winter and spring.
