FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Utah State women's tennis played its sole match of the week Saturday, falling to Northern Arizona, 5-2, on the road.

NAU won the doubles point, but the Aggies were able to pick up one victory there. Junior Gabrielle Dekkers and sophomore Renata Lombera teamed up at the No. 1 position, defeating Ellie Millard and Mimi Bland, 6-2. 

The Aggies also added two wins in singles play against the Lumberjacks. Junior Zara Ryan posted a straight-set victory over Millard, 7-5, 6-3, at the No. 2 spot. In the No. 6 position, junior Annaliese County battled it out to take a three-set win, including a dominant super-tiebreak (6-3, 6-7 (5-7), 10-1).

Utah State has a long break now, before continuing its five-match road swing. The Aggies will be back in action on Saturday, March 6, at New Mexico State. They will then play at UTEP on Sunday, March 7.
