LOGAN, Utah – Utah State's 22nd-ranked gymnastics team returns to action on Friday, Feb. 26, when the Aggies travel to Provo to take on No. 11 BYU at the Smith Fieldhouse.
The Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference dual meet featuring the Aggies (1-7, 1-6 MRGC) and Cougars (7-4, 6-1 MRGC) is slated to begin at 7 p.m. The meet will be streamed live at BYUtv.org. Additionally, live stats will be available online at

"We are looking forward to heading down to Provo on Friday to take on BYU again," said fourth-year Utah State head coach
Amy Smith. "BYU is having an incredible year and we are excited to put together our first complete meet against them this year. We are also excited to get our full line-ups back. They have prepared well all week and will be ready to compete at a high level on Friday."
This is the third meeting between USU and BYU this season. Both teams opened the year at the Rio Tinto Best of Utah Meet on Jan. 9, at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, where Utah State placed third (194.350) and BYU took second (195.700).
Three weeks later, the Cougars defeated the Aggies in Logan, 196.425-195.175.
Utah State currently holds national rankings on one event. The Aggies are 19th on beam with a team average of 48.963. Individually, senior
Autumn DeHarde is first in the conference and 12th in the nation on beam with an average of 9.895.
DeHarde was named the MRGC co-Beam Specialist of the Week after she won the title with a season-high-tying 9.925 against then-No. 17 Southern Utah last weekend. It marked the third time this year, and 15th time in her career, that she has garnered a weekly accolade from the MRGC.
The native of Sussex, Wis., was the lone Aggie to capture an event title against SUU. It was DeHarde's school-record 15th such title on the beam, and she now has 25 career titles, which is tied for 11th all-time in school history.
DeHarde also ranks fourth in the MRGC on vault (9.825) and fifth on floor (9.856). Fellow seniors
Mikaela Meyer and
Taylor Dittmar rank second and eighth in the conference on vault and beam with averages of 9.842 and 9.813, respectively.
