FRESNO, Calif. – Utah State women's tennis (6-11, 1-6 MW) played its first of back-to-back weekend matches Saturday, falling at Fresno State, 4-0. 

Fresno State took the early lead, winning the doubles point. The Aggies did pick up one win in doubles, as juniors Annaliese County and Gabrielle Dekkers defeated Cristina Flaquer and A. C. Hummel, 6-4, in the No. 3 position. 

In singles action, Utah State won just one set before the match was completed. Sophomore Carolina Millan had taken a 1-0 lead in the No. 2 position, but was trailing in the second. The Bulldogs earned the sweep over the Aggies with straight-set victories in the Nos. 3-5 spots, leaving the other three matches unfinished. 

The Aggies remain in Fresno for a neutral-site match, taking on Nevada on Sunday, April 18, at 11 a.m. (MT).
