LOGAN, Utah – Two Utah State volleyball student-athletes earned Mountain West weekly honors as junior outside hitter Tatum Stall was named the Offensive Player of the Week, while middle blocker Bella Wooden was named the Freshman of the Week.
 
The Aggie duo helped lead Utah State to a 2-0 mark last week with a 3-0 sweep against San Diego State and 3-1 victory over Fresno State.
 
Stall finished the week with a team-best 26 kills, averaging 3.71 per set, while adding 12 digs, four service aces, three assists and three blocks to finish with 31.5 points. The native of Chandler, Arizona, led USU in kills in both matches with 12 against the Aztecs and 14 against the Bulldogs. She helped lead the Aggies to their best offensive performance of the season against SDSU as USU hit a season-best .354 (40-11-82). In the match, Stall hit .409 (12-3-22). Stall posted a match-best 18 points against Fresno State and 10 points against SDSU.
 
Wooden led the Aggies with 11 total blocks, averaging 1.57 per set. The native of Summerfield, North Carolina, recorded career highs in total blocks (7) and digs (6) in the win against the Bulldogs. Wooden helped hold San Diego State to a .080 hitting percentage and Fresno State to a .167 hitting percentage. She recorded a set-clinching block with teammate Kylee Stokes in the Aggies' 25-17 set-two win against SDSU.
 
Utah State wraps up its three-match homestand by hosting Boise State (12-4, 4-1 MW) on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 7 p.m.
