LARAMIE, Wyo. – Utah State volleyball (14-6, 6-3 Mountain West) recorded a 3-1 road victory against Wyoming (8-13, 4-5 MW) on Thursday.

Utah State's opposite side hitters came up big for the Aggies as senior
Kylee Stokes had a match-high-tying 14 kills and sophomore
Adna Mehmedovic followed suit with 12 hammers to go along with a team-best five blocks.

Leah Wilton-LaBoy added 19. Three Aggies finished the match with double-digit digs as redshirt sophomore libero
Jordi Holdaway had 21, while both starting outside hitters had 10 apiece in senior

Set one stayed close until an 8-2 Utah State run gave USU the 15-10 edge. After a Cowgirl kill, another 4-0 Aggie spurt, capped by kills from Stall and Stokes, extended the margin to 19-11. Another Stall hammer would put USU at set point and a Wyoming service error gave Utah State the 25-21 victory.

Utah State led for the entirety of set two for the 25-17 win. Kills from Stall and Mehmedovic, service aces from Capllonch and Holdaway, and a Wyoming attacking error put Utah State on top 6-1 early in the set. After the Cowgirls trimmed the lead to two, a 5-0 Aggie run fueled by a Wyoming service error, kills from senior middle blocker
Kennedi Boyd and Capllonch, Stall service ace and solo block from Stokes extended the margin to 22-15. Another Wyoming attack error put USU at set point and the Aggies won the set once again on a Cowgirl service error.

The third was a set of runs as Wyoming won 25-20.

After the Cowgirls took a three-point edge in set four, a 4-0 Aggie run, capped by a Capllonch kill, gave USU its first lead 8-7. The teams went back and forth until a block from Capllonch and redshirt freshman middle blocker
Bella Wooden gave USU the 19-16 advantage. Wyoming came back to tie it and the back and forth continued until the Cowgirls took a 23-22 lead. The Aggies closed out the set with three-straight points, highlighted by kills from Mehmedovic and Stokes, for the 25-23 win.

Overall, USU hit .162 (54-31-142), while Wyoming hit .147 (40-21-129).
