Trio of Utah State Cross Country Runners Honored by Mountain West

LOGAN, Utah – Utah State cross country runners Camren Todd, Stewart Brown and Meredith Price were honored by the Mountain West on Tuesday for their respective performances at the Lehigh-hosted Paul Short Run.
 
Todd was named the MW Men's Athlete of the Week, while Brown and Price were selected as the male and female freshmen of the week, respectively.
 
Todd led Utah State to a third-place finish out of 46 teams at the Paul Short Run in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The senior from Kaysville, Utah, finished third overall out of 428 runners with a time of 23:07.4 in the Men's College Gold 8K race. As a team, the Aggies finished with 105 points, beating then-No. 17 Georgetown in the process.
 
Brown placed fourth in the Open Men's 8K race with a time of 24:01.2, while Price captured third place in the Open Women's 6K race with a time of 21:39.9.
 
The Aggies return to action on Friday, Oct. 7, at 3 p.m., when they host their second and final home meet of the season, the Steve T. Reeder Memorial Invitational on the Steve and Dona Reeder Cross Country Course.
