LOGAN, Utah – Utah State men's tennis senior
David Cierny is set to represent the Aggies at the ITA National Fall Championships in San Diego, California. The tournament is set to run from Wednesday, Nov. 2, through Sunday, Nov. 6.

Cierny qualified for the singles tournament via a second-place finish at the ITA Mountain Regional Championships. Cierny's run in singles play was tied for the furthest run by an Aggie ever at the ITA Regionals. Playing alongside fellow senior
Bodin Zarkovic, Cierny also became the first Aggie to reach the semifinals of the doubles draw at the tournament.
Cierny will begin his tournament versus No. 2-seeded Antoine Cornut-Chauvinc from Florida State on Wednesday at 10:15 a.m. Cornut-Chauvinc was ranked 105th in the country in the ITA preseason rankings.
