LOGAN, Utah – Utah State freshman Brie Clark was honored by the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference following her performance this past Sunday against Towson.

It is the sixth time in her career that Clark has garnered weekly accolades from the MRGC.

Clark won the floor title against the Tigers with a career-high-tying 9.950, which is tied for third all-time in school history. She helped the Aggies notch their highest home score in school history with a 196.725.

Utah State's 196.725, which is also the fifth-best overall score in program history, bested the previous home record of 196.675, set against North Carolina State on March 14, 2003.

Clark ranks first in the MRGC and is tied for fifth nationally on floor with a National Qualifying Score of 9.935.

The 16th-ranked Aggies (9-6, 3-4 MRGC) continue their season this week with a road tri meet. Utah State will travel to the Evergreen State to take on host Washington (4-7, 1-5 Pac-12) and No. 20 Stanford (4-9-1, 2-5 Pac-12), on Sunday, March 6, at 3 p.m. (MT), at Alaska Airlines Arena in Seattle, Washington.
