SAN DIEGO, California — Utah State women's tennis lost to UNLV, 4-0, on Saturday at the Aztec Tennis Center in San Diego, California.

The Aggies fell behind in doubles play with losses at the second and third positions. At the top position, junior Sidnee Lavatai and senior Gabrielle Dekkers had their match suspended while ahead, 6-5.

In singles play, the Rebels clinched the match with wins at the second, third and sixth positions. UNLV's Coco Zhao defeated Sidnee Lavatai, 6-3, 6-0, while Zita Kovacs defeated Lisa Kung, 6-1, 6-3. Isumi Asano defeated junior Zara Ryan, 6-3, 6-1, to clinch the match.

Senior Annaliese County had her match suspended tied one set apiece versus Salsa Aher, 6-4, 1-6. Juniors Zeynep Naz Ozturk and Carolina Millan also had their matches suspended midway through the second set.

Utah State will have an immediate opportunity to bounce back against San Diego State tomorrow on Sunday, March 27, at 3 p.m. (MT).
