LOGAN, Utah – Utah State's men's golf team will hit the links at the 2022 Mountain West Golf Championship this weekend in Bremerton, Washington.
The Aggies will join 10 other teams at the 54-hole event, which takes place Friday through Sunday, April 29-May 1, on the 7,115-yard, par-72 Olympic Course at Gold Mountain Golf Club.
This is just the second time in the last 15 championships that the event will not be contested on the Catalina Course at the OMNI Tucson National Golf Club. The MW Championships also took place at the Olympic Course in 2018.
The 11-team field will complete 18 holes each day, following a practice round on Thursday. The Aggies are the No. 10 seed and will tee off with No. 9 Wyoming and No. 11 Air Force in the fifth group on Friday, starting at 11:40 a.m. (MT), while the pairings for the final two rounds will be based on team standings.

Jesse Henderson (No. 5).
Of those five, only Henderson and Vazquez competed at the 2021 MW Championship, which took place at OMNI Tucson National. Henderson tied for 51st at 17-over 233, while Vazquez placed 54th at 21-over 237. As a team, the Aggies placed 10th at 10-over 896.
During his freshman campaign, Tucker tied for 52nd at the 2019 MW Championship, which also took place at Omni Tucson National. He shot a 4-over 76 in the final round to end the tournament at 11-over 227.
Vazquez leads the Aggies with a stroke average of 73.25 this season. He has recorded three top-20 finishes and one top-10 finish. Cook is second with a 73.73 scoring average.
Utah State enters this year's tournament ranked 208th in the latest GolfStat team rankings. New Mexico leads the field at No. 34, followed by No. 35 Nevada, No. 50 San Diego State, No. 51 Boise State, No. 70 Colorado State, No. 85 San José State, No. 87 Fresno State, No. 89 UNLV, No. 114 Wyoming and No. 271 Air Force.
