Athletic Accomplishments

• Men's basketball finished the 2021-22 season with an overall mark of 18-16, and qualified for the NCAA postseason for the fourth-consecutive year, hosting Oregon in the first round of the NIT.

• Utah State volleyball enjoyed one of its best seasons in recent memory in 2021 as the Aggies earned their first Mountain West regular season title after finishing the 2021 campaign with a 22-9 overall record, including a 14-4 mark in MW play. The team also defeated in-conference foe Colorado State for the first time since 1982.

• Utah State gymnastics enjoyed one of its finest seasons in program history as the Aggies captured their first-ever MRGC Championship with a season-high score of 197.025, which ranks second all-time in school history. USU also competed in their 27th NCAA Regional Championships, where they finished with a team score of 196.825, which is the highest score in program history for an NCAA regional meet and ranks third all-time in school history. 

• Women's cross country advanced to the NCAA Championships for only the second time in program history, placing 28th out of 31 teams. The women also registered their best-ever finish at the Mountain West Cross Country Championships, placing second with a team score of 73.

• Men's tennis compiled an 11-12 record in the 2022 dual match season, including a 4-2 mark in Mountain West play to finish second in the conference. 

• Utah State soccer finished its 2021 season with an overall mark of 13-6-3, including a 5-4-2 ledger in the Mountain West. The 13 victories marked the most for the Aggies during the MW era. Furthermore, USU's 8-2-1 record in non-conference action was the best mark in school history.

• Men's basketball player Justin Bean and soccer player Ashley Cardozo were named USU's men's and women's Student-Athletes of the Year. 

Academic Accomplishments

• Utah State had 201 student-athletes recognized with academic all-Mountain West honors and led the conference with 191 student-athletes recognized as Mountain West Scholar-Athletes. 241 student-athletes where honored at the Joe E. and Elma Whitesides luncheon with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or better. 

• A total of 19 student-athletes maintained a perfect 4.0 grade point average.

• The men's and women's cross country teams and the gymnastics team earned the NCAA's Public Recognition Award with perfect APR scores of 1,000.
