LOGAN, Utah – Utah State head women's basketball coach
Kayla Ard announced the signing of Lillian Harris, a sophomore forward transferring from Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) Essex, to complete the 2022-23 roster.
"Finalizing our roster with our last signee, Lillian, is huge for us," Ard said. "Adding a very skilled 6-foot-2 post player that can stretch the defense to the 3-point line and put up the stat line she did as a freshman is fantastic. Not to mention, she played for one of the best JUCOs in the country last year and she is a winner. What a great way to round out our 2022-23 roster. It's a great day to be an Aggie. "
Harris was a part of the CCBX Essex squad that went 35-1 in 2021-22 and helped set a NJCAA-record 53-straight victories. The Knights capped their season with a third-place finish at the NJCAA DII Women's Basketball Championship.
The sophomore forward from Westminster, Maryland, was second on the team in blocks per game, while adding 5.6 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. She scored in double figures nine times, including a season-best 18 points against Allegany College of Maryland. Harris collected five or more rebounds in 16 games, including a season-best eight boards at Chesapeake College.
