LOGAN, Utah – Utah State's gymnastics team will compete in the fifth annual Rio Tinto Best of Utah Meet on Monday, Jan. 15, at the Maverik Center in West Valley City.

The podium event, which also features in-state rivals BYU, Southern Utah and Utah, will begin at 4 p.m.

"Competing at the Best of Utah is always a fun and exciting competition for our student-athletes and fans," second-year Utah State head coach Kristin White said. "We are fortunate to have such a prestigious event for the four gymnastics universities in Utah and we hope all our Aggie fans join us on Monday, Jan. 15. Competing in front of a large crowd on a podium is always great preparation for the postseason and we look forward to a great showing to help kick off our second meet of the year."

The ticket presale window for the Rio Tinto Best of Utah begins on Monday, Oct. 23, at 10 a.m., and ends on Thursday, Oct. 26, at 10 p.m. The presale includes $5 off the ticket price, no online convenience fees and parking for the event.

During the presale, Utah State fans will have access to the discounted pricing by clicking here. The university presale code for the Aggies is: USUBOU. All tickets go on sale at full price on Friday, Oct. 27, at 10 a.m.

Utah has won the past four Best of Utah competitions at the Maverik Center, while Utah State has placed second once, third twice and fourth once.

The Aggies return 11 gymnasts from last year's squad, including senior Brianna Brooks, who was named the NCAA North Central Region Gymnast of the Year in 2022. The native of Las Vegas, Nevada, also garnered first-team all-Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference accolades in the all-around and second-team honors on bars.

Additionally, Utah State welcomes eight newcomers to this year's team.
