LOGAN, Utah
– Utah State's gymnastics team performed their 2024 routines on the vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise in a competition-style format at the annual Blue vs. White Meet on Friday.

"I was excited to see our student-athletes come out and perform the routines that they've been training all preseason long." Utah State head coach Kristin White said. "It was a good first test to see where we're at in preparation for the season, and I'm really looking forward to the hard work that they're going to put in these last couple weeks before Christmas Break. When we return, it's go time, so I'm really excited to see the effort they can put in and get ready for the year."

In place of having a Blue and White team this year, one team had a full roster for each rotation and was judged on their event, while the other team's event consisted of exhibition routines. This format simulated in-season competition.

The Aggies will compete in the Mountain West conference this year as the league announced the addition of women's gymnastics to its slate of sponsored sports. Utah State is joined by former Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference member Boise State, as well as Air Force and San José State for conference competition.

Utah State officially opens its season on the road at North Carolina for a quad meet on Friday, Jan. 5. Along with the Aggies and host Tar Heels, Rutgers and Ball State will join the competition, which begins at 5:30 p.m. (MT).

The Aggies will kick off the home portion of their schedule on Friday, Jan. 26, at 7 p.m., when they welcome Air Force to the Spectrum.

Season tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at www.UtahStateAggies.com.
