LOGAN, Utah — Utah State's track & field teams are again slated to host the Aggie Speed and Power Meet on Saturday, February 4. This is the second annual Speed and Power Meet hosted by Utah State. Prior to last season's inaugural competition, the Aggies had not hosted an indoor meet since January of 2009.
The meet will take place at the George Nelson Fieldhouse in Logan, Utah, and is a non-ticketed event. Admission is free of charge with available public seating.
The Aggies will be joined at the event by competitors from BYU, Utah, Utah Valley, Westminster and Salt Lake CC. Live results will be provided throughout the day's competition.
Action is slated to begin on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. (MT) with the men's weight throw. Running events will begin at 10 a.m. (MT) with the women's 5,000 meters. The meet is set to conclude at approximately 2:30 p.m. with the men's and women's 4x400-meter relays. A full schedule of events is available online.
Utah State competed last week at both the UW Invitational and the Stacy Dragila Invitational, coming away with six individual titles, three at each competition, and 15 total top-three finishes. A total of 17 athletes also recorded times ranking in the top 10 all-time in their respective events at USU.
