SAN DIEGO, California – Utah State women's tennis lost to UC Irvine, 4-2, on Saturday. 

The Anteaters began the day by taking the doubles point with wins at the second and third positions, leaving graduate student Monique Burton and senior Zeynep Naz Ozturk's match on court one unfinished. 

Utah State scored two points during singles play and one match was left unfinished while three Aggies lost their matches. 

On court two, Burton won in a 6-4, 6-3 straight-set victory. 

In the sixth position, sophomore Indya Nespor took her match in a 6-1, 6-3 win, earning herself a perfect week on the road in singles play. 

Over on court one, Naz Ozturk's match was suspended with a 6-3, 6-7, 4-4 score when UC Irvine reached the fourth point of the match. 

Utah State returns home to the Sports Academy & Racquet Club to take on Montana State on March 17, at 11 am (MT).
