BOISE, Idaho – Utah State women's lost to No. 50-ranked San Diego State, 4-0, on Saturday. 

Utah State began the day fighting for the doubles point. Redshirt senior Sidnee Lavatai and senior Zeynep Naz Ozturk earned their court two doubles win in a 6-3 victory. 

Graduate student Monique Burton and junior Lisa Küng fell short at the No. 1 doubles spot in a 7-5 loss, granting the Aztecs the point. 

During singles play at the No. 1 spot, Naz Ozturk recorded a 7-5 first set win. Her match was left unfinished in the second set as the Aztecs earned their fourth point of the day. 

On court five, graduate student Annaliese County came back from a first-set loss to post a 7-5 second set victory but while in the third set, her match was suspended as well. 

Utah State (5-8, 0-3 MW) remains in Boise, Idaho to continue Mountain West play as they face UNLV (10-1, 2-0 MW) on Sunday, April 2, at 9 a.m. (MT).
