LOGAN, Utah - Utah State women's tennis will travel to Las Vegas, Nevada, to compete in the Mountain West Conference Fall Individuals, taking place from Wednesday, Oct. 2, through Sunday, Oct. 6, at the Darling Tennis Center.

LAST TIME
Utah State women's tennis had a successful weekend competing in the Jon Messick Invitational last weekend. Sophomore Niyati Kukreti stood out by winning the consolation finals in Flight D, while junior Magdalena Nunez Pureco reached the finals in the main draw of Flight E. Junior transfer Olivia Halvorsen and freshman Ana Sabikova were also finalists in their consolation brackets. On the first day of the invitational, Utah State secured six singles victories, along with three doubles wins in consolation brackets. Nunez Pureco captured a hard-fought three-set victory in the main draw of Flight E, while Kukreti advanced in straight sets in the quarterfinals of Flight D's consolation draw. Halvorsen and Sabikova both finished the day 1-1, with each earning wins in their respective consolation quarterfinals. On the second day, Kukreti, Halvorsen, Sabikova and Nunez Pureco receive byes, advancing them to their respective finals. On the final day, Kukreti claimed the consolation title in Flight D with a straight-sets victory, while Nunez Pureco, Halvorsen and Sabikova fell short in their final matches.
