LOGAN, Utah - Utah State softball head coach Todd Judge announced a new honorary team member, signing Brylee Allen, a local teenager diagnosed with leukemia, through Team IMPACT.
Allen was officially announced at a signing day press conference on Thursday, Dec. 5, at USU's West Stadium Center. She has participated in several team activities over the past month since being matched with USU softball, including attending the team Halloween party and joining the team's leadership council for a tour of the Utah State athletics facilities.
"We are so excited to welcome Brylee to the Aggie softball family," Judge said. "Her determination, fighting spirit and positive outlook inspire the entire softball team. We look up to Brylee as a leader and as an example of determination and resiliency."
