LOGAN, Utah – Utah State's Athletics Department held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday for its newly completed gymnastics locker room, which is located next to its practice facility on the USU campus in the HPER Building.
The locker room includes 22 lockers, a lounge and study area with flat-screen televisions, and the James and Heather Bohm Nutrition Room.
"It is with great appreciation to James and Heather Bohm that we unveil our new gymnastics locker room today," said USU Vice President and Director of Athletics Diana Sabau. "It is always gratifying to see former student-athletes give back and their lead gift made this project possible. This investment in our gymnastics program will directly impact the day-to-day lives of our current student-athletes experience and help attract future Aggies."
"Today is monumental day for our gymnastics program," said second-year head coach
Kristin White. "We are grateful to our alumni, donors, and fans for their continued support. Without their assistance, projects like these would just be an idea and today it becomes a reality.
"Our student-athletes are blessed to be surrounded by a supportive athletic department that believes in the success and development of their athletes. We look forward to our athletes having a beautiful locker room for them to fuel, study, relax, and continue to develop a culture of championships."
