LOGAN, Utah — Utah State's gymnastics team posted a 195.000 to place third at the Oklahoma-hosted quad meet on Friday with BYU and Texas Woman's University. USU began the meet with a season-high 49.225 on floor, followed by a 48.800 on vault, a 48.525 on bars and a 48.450 on beam.
First-ranked Oklahoma won the meet with a 198.450, BYU finished second with a 196.250 and Texas Woman's placed fourth with a 194.575.

"Incredibly proud of the floor squad for coming out the gate hot," said White. "Unfortunately, we let one mistake get in the way of finishing the competition. We need to find a way to put all four events together on the road."
Rotation One – Floor (49.225)
Utah State began the meet with a season-high 49.225 on floor. Topping the scores for the Aggies were graduate student Alivia Ostendorf and senior Angel Stuart with a pair of 9.875s, which was Stuart's career-high. A trio of Aggies scored a 9.825 in freshman Nyla Morabito, junior Amari Evans and senior Jenna Eagles to round out the scorers on the event.
Rotation Two – Vault (48.800)
During the second rotation, the Aggies combined for a 48.800 score on vault. Ostendorf led the Aggies with a 9.825. Senior Brianna Brooks followed with a 9.800 and Morabito scored a 9.750. Graduate senior Juliette Boyer's 9.725 and junior Payton Gatzlaff's 9.700 finished the rotation for the Aggies.
Rotation Three – Bars (48.525)
Brooks highlighted the third rotation as she scored a 9.825 on bars. Boyer and Stuart posted a pair of 9.775s, which was Stuart's second career-high of the night. Sophomore Avery Bibbey earned a 9.700, and graduate student Lexi Aragon recorded a 9.450 on the event.
Rotation Four – Beam (48.450)
In the final rotation, the Aggies posted a 48.450 on beam. Brooks scored a 9.825 to top the team scores on the event. Eagles followed with a season-high 9.775 and freshman Sydney Jelen posted her career-high of 9.750. Ostendorf's 9.675 and freshman Mya Witte's 9.425 round out the scores for the rotation.
