Box Score FRESNO, California – Utah State women's tennis (3-9, 0-2 MW) lost at Fresno State (9-6, 1-0 MW) by a final score of 4-0.
 
The Bulldogs took the lead early in the match by clinching the doubles point with wins at the second and third positions.
 
In singles, senior Lisa Küng fell at the No. 2 spot in straight sets (1-6, 4-6), senior Laura Fernanda Eugenio De Hilario lost in two sets at the No. 3 spot (2-6, 1-6) and junior Indya Nespor lost at the No. 4 spot in two sets (2-6, 2-6). 
 
Graduate senior Zeynep Naz Ozturk, freshman Magdalena Nunez Pureco and freshman Savannah Johnson were set to compete, but their matches remained unfinished. 
 
USU continues Mountain West play next week as it travels to Colorado State and Wyoming for matches on Saturday, March 23, at 11:00 a.m., and on Sunday, March 24, at 10:00 a.m., respectively.
