LOGAN, Utah – Utah State's gymnastics team will host Air Force, Boise State and San José State in the inaugural Mountain West Championships inside the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum on Saturday, March 23, at 7 p.m. The event will also be streamed on the MW Network.

THE COMPETITION
Air Force (4-15, 1-5 MW) has a National Qualifying Score (NQS) of 194.995 to rank fourth in the Mountain West and 57th in the nation, which includes a 48.550 on vault to rank fourth in the MW and 61st nationally, a 48.940 on bars to rank fourth in the MW and 46th nationally, a 48.800 on beam to rank fourth in the MW and 51st nationally, and a 49.085 on floor to rank fourth in the MW and 56th nationally.
Individually, freshman Maggie Slife is first in the MW and 44th in the nation in the all-around (39.340), tied for third in the MW and tied for 136th in the nation on vault (9.840), second in the MW and tied for 28th in the nation on bars (9.910), and seventh in the MW and tied for 140th in the nation on floor (9.875). And, freshman Clara Wallace is tied for ninth in the MW and tied for 198th in the nation on beam (9.820).
Boise State (17-5, 5-0 MW) has a National Qualifying Score (NQS) of 196.655 to lead the Mountain West and rank 30th in the nation, which includes a 49.000 on vault to rank second in the MW and 43rd in the nation, a 49.210 on bars to rank first in the MW and 31st in the nation, a 49.190 on beam to rank first in the MW and 27th in the nation, and a 49.320 on floor to rank second in the MW and 30th nationally.
Individually, senior Emily Lopez is first in the MW and tied for 19th in the nation on bars (9.930). Senior Adriana Popp is first in the MW and tied for 48th in the nation on beam (9.895), and tied for fifth in the MW and tied for 161st in the nation on vault (9.830). And senior Courtney Blackson is second in the MW and tied for 56th nationally on floor (9.910).
San José State (14-8, 4-3 MW) has a National Qualifying Score (NQS) of 196.555 to rank second in the Mountain West and 33rd in the nation, which includes a 49.035 on vault to rank first in the MW and 41st in the nation, a 49.035 on bars to rank third in the MW and 40th in the nation, a 49.135 on beam to rank second in the MW and 32nd in the nation, and a 49.355 on floor to rank first in the MW and 25th nationally.
Individually, senior Lauren Macpherson is second in the MW and 53rd in the nation in the all-around (39.225), and is tied for first in the MW and tied for 48th in the nation on beam (9.895). Senior Jaudai Lopes is first in the MW and tied for 77th in the nation on vault (9.865). And senior Jada Mazury is first in the MW and tied for 43rd in the nation on floor (9.915), and fourth in the MW and tied for 90th in the nation on bars (9.875).

Utah State (6-17, 2-4 MW) has a National Qualifying Score (NQS) of 195.765 on the season to rank third in the Mountain West and 45th in the nation, which includes a 48.900 on vault to rank third in the MW and 52nd in the nation, a 49.060 on bars to rank second in the MW and 37th in the nation, a 48.820 on beam to rank third in the MW and 49th in the nation, and a 49.165 on floor to rank third in the MW and 46th in the nation.
Individually, senior
Brianna Brooks ranks fourth in the MW and 80th in the nation in the all-around (39.010), and fifth in the MW and tied for 100th in the nation on bars (9.870). Graduate
Alivia Ostendorf ranks tied third in the MW and tied for 136th in the nation on vault (9.840), and eighth in the MW and tied for 155th in the nation on floor (9.870). And graduate
Lexi Aragon ranks sixth in the MW and tied for 153rd in the nation on beam (9.840).
