LOGAN, Utah - Utah State women's tennis (3-9, 0-2 MW) continues its 2024 spring season this weekend with two matches as it plays at Colorado State (5-6, 1-1 MW) on Saturday, March 23, at 12:30 p.m., and at Wyoming (9-7, 0-1 MW) on Sunday, March 24, at 10 a.m.

LAST TIME
Utah State went 0-3 last week as it lost at Sacramento State (5-2), to San Diego State (4-2) and at Fresno State (4-0). Against the Hornets, senior Laura Fernanda Eugenio De Hilario won in three sets at the No. 2 spot (6-3, 2-6, 6-2) and junior Indya Nespor won in three sets at the No. 4 spot (6-3, 3-6, 1-0). Against the Aztecs, USU won the doubles point as senior Lisa Küng and graduate senior Zeynep Naz Ozturk won 6-2 at the second position, while freshmen Niyati Kukreti and Magdalena Nunez Pureco won at the third position due to a forfeit by the Aztecs. In singles, Pureco won by forfeit at the No. 6 spot. Other Aggies to compete during the weekend included freshmen Savannah Johnson and Ana Paula Chavez Sanchez.
