FORT COLLINS, Colorado – Utah State women's tennis lost a Mountain West match at Colorado State on Saturday by a final score of 4-1. USU falls to 3-10 on the season and 0-3 in Mountain West play.  
 
The Rams (6-6, 2-1 MW) earned the doubles point to start the match with wins at the first and second positions. 
 
In singles play, freshman Niyati Kukreti earned the only Aggies point of the day with a win at the No. 6 spot in straight sets (6-1, 6-1). 
 
In other singles matches, graduate senior Zeynep Naz Ozturk fell at the No. 1 spot in straight sets (3-6, 1-6), junior Indya Nespor fell in straight sets at the No. 4 spot (3-6, 5-7) and freshman Magdalena Nunez Pureco lost in straight sets at the No. 5 spot (4-6, 1-6). 
 
Senior Lisa Küng and senior Laura Fernanda Eugenio De Hilario match's remained unfinished. 
 
USU will be back in action tomorrow, March 24, at 10:00 a.m., when they play at Wyoming.
