The Cowgirls earned the doubles point to start the match with wins at the No. 1 and No. 2 spots. 
 
In singles play, graduate senior Zeynep Naz Ozturk lost in straight sets at the No. 1 spot (2-6, 0-6). At the No. 3 spot senior Laura Fernanda Eugenio De Hilario (2-6, 3-6), while junior Indya Nespor fell in two sets at the No. 4 spot (4-6, 1-6).
 
Matches by freshman Niyati Kukreti, senior Lisa Küng and freshman Magdalena Nunez Pureco remained unfinished. 
 
USU continues Mountain West play by hosting Air Force and New Mexico next weekend. They will face Air Force on March 28, at 11 a.m., and will take on New Mexico on March 30, at 11 a.m.
