LOGAN, Utah – Utah State women's tennis finished Mountain West play with a 4-1 loss to Boise State. The Aggies conclude the regular season with a 1-9 record in MW play and a 4-16 record overall. The Broncos improve to 4-6 in conference and 8-12 overall. 
 
The Broncos earned the doubles point to start the match, posting wins at the first and second positions. 
 
In singles play, freshman Magdalena Nunez Pureco posted a win in straight sets at the No. 6 (6-2, 6-0), tying the match 1-1. 
 
BSU came back and earned the rest of the singles points over senior Lisa Küng at the No. 2 spot (6-1, 5-7, 3-6), senior Laura Fernanda Eugenio De Hilario at the No. 3 spot (1-6, 4-6) and freshman Niyati Kukreti at the No. 4 spot (3-6, 2-6). 
 
Graduate senior Zeynep Naz Ozturk and junior Indya Nespor's matches remained unfinished. 
 
USU will compete in the Mountain West tournament on Wednesday, April 24, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The opponent and time are still to be determined.
