LOGAN, Utah — Utah State head women's basketball coach Wesley Brooks announced the addition of local standout Elise Livingston to the team's 2024-25 roster Friday afternoon.
 
"We're very excited about Elise and bringing in a local kid from Ridgeline who is a state champion," Brooks said. "She is a winner, which is one thing we love about her. She'll bring the ability to shoot the ball as well as a defensive presence for our press, so we're very excited about her game."
 
Livingston, a 5-foot-9 guard, is the first signing of the Brooks era at Utah State. She joins the Aggies from Ridgeline High School in Millville, Utah, where she played a pivotal role in helping the Riverhawks secure Utah 4A state titles each of the past two seasons. Livingston, a four-year letterwinner, earned first-team all-state honors for three consecutive years, from her sophomore to senior seasons.
 
As a senior in 2023-24, Livingston helped her team finish ranked No. 28 in the nation as she averaged 14.9 points, 2.6 assists, 1.8 rebounds and 1.8 steals per contest. Her remarkable performance in the state title game against Show Canyon, where she led the team with 20 points, earned her Deseret News all-tournament recognition for the third consecutive season. Throughout her high school career, Livingston accumulated over 1,100 points
 
Livingston also played for one of the top club basketball teams in the region, Utah Lady Prospects, where she helped her team to a third-place finish at Adidas Nationals.
