LOGAN, Utah - Utah State women's tennis enters the Mountain West Championships as the No. 10 seed and will face off against seventh-seed Fresno State on Wednesday, April 24, at 11 a.m. (MT), in Las Vegas, Nevada. The two teams met earlier this year in Fresno with the Bulldogs posting a 4-0 win.
 
Utah State is 4-16 on the season and 1-9 in MW play, while Fresno State is 10-12 overall and 4-4 in conference play.

LAST TIME
Utah State lost its regular season finale at home last weekend to Boise State 4-1.  The Broncos earned the doubles point to start the match, posting wins at the first and second positions. In singles play, freshman Magdalena Nunez Pureco posted a win in straight sets at the No. 6 spot (6-2, 6-0), tying the match 1-1. BSU came back and earned the rest of the singles points over senior Lisa Küng at the No. 2 spot (1-6, 7-5, 6-3), senior Laura Fernanda Eugenio De Hilario at the No. 3 spot (6-1, 6-4) and freshman Niyati Kukreti at the No. 4 spot (6-3, 6-2). Graduate senior Zeynep Naz Ozturk and junior Indya Nespor's matches were left unfinished.
