LOGAN, Utah – Utah State's gymnastics team will begin its 2025 competition season this week at fifth-ranked Utah on Friday, Jan. 3, at 7 p.m.
Utah State will begin the meet on bars and Utah will begin on vault. The meet will be broadcast live on ESPN+ with Jim Watson (play-by-play) and Alisa Mowe (analyst) on the call.

Utah State finished the 2024 season at 8-18 overall, including a 2-4 mark in the Mountain West, and placed second at the MW Championships with a season-high 196.500. USU began the meet with a season-high 49.275 on beam, followed by a 49.275 on floor, a 48.750 on vault and a 49.200 on bars. That 196.500 is the fifth-highest home score in school history and the highest under White.
Brooks won the lone event title for Utah State at the 2024 MW Championships with a season-high-tying 9.900 on bars. She also finished second in the all-around with a 39.300.
Brooks was the lone Aggie to compete at the 2024 NCAA Regional Championships and tied for first on bars with a season-high-tying 9.900 at the California Regional.
Brooks was named the NCAA North Central Region (Region 2) Gymnast of the Year for the second-straight season in 2024 and was one of three Aggies to earn all-MW honors as she garnered second-team accolades on bars and in the all-around.
Utah State concluded the 2024 season ranking eighth in the North Central Region and 45th in the nation with a National Qualifying Score (NQS) of 195.835. USU also ranked sixth in the region and 38th in the nation on bars (49.100), seventh in the region and 46th nationally on floor (49.190), eighth in the region and 52nd in the nation on beam (48.860), and eighth in the region and 53rd nationally on vault (48.900).
