LOGAN, Utah - Utah State women's tennis will continue its fall season in Las Vegas at the Mountain West Fall Qualifier, running Thursday, Oct. 2, through Sunday, Oct. 5. Winners of the four brackets will advance to the 2025 ITA Conference Masters Championships, set for Nov. 6-9 at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, California.

The weekend before last, Utah State women's tennis competed at the Bedford Cup in Colorado Springs, highlighted by a doubles championship from sophomore Maria Paula Ramos Garcia and junior Terezia Mlkva. The duo won four straight matches, finishing with a 6-3 victory over Colorado's Lani Brotman and Yukiko Ikedo in the final.
MIkva added two singles wins, while Ramos Garcia battled for a three-set victory against Idaho State's Sydney Morris. Freshman Kylee Sperry picked up a straight-sets win over Colorado State's Hanna Haber, and sophomore Magdalena Nunez Pureco collected two singles wins of her own. Sperry and Nunez Pureco also paired up for a doubles win, defeating Idaho State's Victoria Grymalska and Evelina Zhuk, 6-1.
