PROVO, Utah – Utah State women's tennis continued its fall season at the ITA Mountain Regional Championships. The Aggies earned several victories across singles and doubles play, highlighted by strong performances from sophomores Maria Paula Ramos Garcia and Kylee Sperry.

In singles, Ramos Garcia opened the qualifying draw with a straight-sets win over Montana's Kate Prichard, 7-5, 6-3, before falling in a hard-fought three-set match to No. 2 seed Hayley Roberts of Utah, 1-6, 6-4, 6-4. Sperry also impressed in extra matches, securing a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Colorado's Yukiko Ikedo oubles action, Utah State earned two opening-round victories. Paterova and senior Olivia Halvorsen teamed up for an 8-5 win over Wyoming's Violetta Borodina and Silver Mijlsma, while Nunez Pureco and Sperry added an 8-6 victory against Idaho's Chenyue Xu and Hanna Koprowska.
