AGGIES AT THE MOUNTAIN WEST CHAMPIONSHIPS
Utah State's men's cross country team will be looking to win its second-ever Mountain West championship. The Aggies won the team title in 2019, running on their home course. Two Aggie men have won individual titles, with Dallin Farnsworth taking home the crown in 2019 and 
Caleb Garnica winning the title in 2020. The Aggie women's highest team finish came in 2021, placing second behind New Mexico, while their highest-ever individual finish belongs to senior 
Emma Thornley, who finished in fourth place in 2023.  
POLLING NUMBERS
The men and women were each ranked fifth in the 2025 Mountain West Cross Country Pre-Championship Polls. The Aggie women earned 85 poll points, ranking behind New Mexico (120), Boise State (110), Colorado State (97) and Air Force (90). The men's team picked up 51 poll points, with New Mexico (81), Boise State (69), Air Force (64) and Wyoming (53) ranking ahead of them.
The Utah State men were ranked sixth in the Week 4 NCAA DI Cross Country Mountain Regional Rankings, while the women were ranked seventh. The Aggie women's team has been featured in every regional ranking since 2012, while the men have been ranked in every regional poll since 2016.
AWARDS SEASON
Juniors 
Natalie Swain and 
Shelby Jensen have each claimed MW Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week honors in 2025. Swain earned the accolades, the second conference award of her career, on September 2, while Jensen claimed her first career MW weekly award on September 9.
ON THE STARTING LINE
USU's 24 runners 
entered to compete at the 2025 MW Cross Country Championships have combined for 27 postseason appearances and 13 MW weekly awards in their Aggie cross country careers. Graduate 
Logan Garnica earned second-team All-MW honors at the 2024 championships as he placed 13th in the men's 8K race.
LAST MEET
Utah State's women's team finished 17th out of 38 teams with an overall score of 452 points at the Missouri-hosted 2025 Pre-National Invitational, while the men topped two ranked opponents en route to finishing 22nd with 567 points at the Wisconsin Nuttycombe Invitational. Junior 
Natalie Swain led the Aggie women in the 6K race with a 40th-place time of 20:30.0 and sophomore 
Joshua McKee finished in 73rd place in the men's 8K race with a time of 24:10.2.
