Cross Country (2024): Placed seventh at the UC Riverside Invitational with a 6K time of 20:12.5, leading the Aggies to a team title… Finished 15th at the Lehigh-hosted Paul Short Run, leading all USU runners with a 6K time of 20:27.0… Took 16th at the Princeton Fall Classic, tops among Aggie runners, with a 6K time of 20:09.5… Placed 22nd at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships with a 6K time of 20:17.0, earning all-region honors for the second year in a row.
Indoor: Placed fourth in the 5,000 meters and seventh in the 3,000 meters at the Mountain West Indoor Championships with times of 16:41.20 and 9:40.48, respectively… Set a personal best in the 5,000 meters with a time of 16:13.54 as she placed 46th at the Boston University-hosted Valentine Invitational.
Outdoor: Set the Utah State record in the 5,000 meters with a time of 16:01.44 as she placed fifth at the Stanford-hosted Payton Jordan Invitational… Finished 28th in the 5,000 meters and 30th in the 10,000 meters at the NCAA West First Rounds, posting times of 16:27.03 and 35:33.35… Finished sixth in the 5,000 meters at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships with a time of 16:18.50… Set a personal best in the 10,000 meters with a time of 33:32.13 as she placed 25th at the Stanford Invitational.

Cross Country (2023): Was the top Aggie finisher, placing 64th with a 5K time of 17:19.6 at the Virginia Invitational… Took 127th with a 6K time of 21:21.4 at the Wisconsin-hosted Nuttycombe Invitational as the top Aggie finisher in the competition… Named first-team All-Mountain West after finishing fourth with a 6K time of 20:23.3 as the top Aggie finisher at the MW Championships… Earned all-region honors after finishing 23rd with a 6K time of 20:15.9 at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships as the top Aggie finisher in the competition.
Indoor: Placed 10th in the 5,000 meters (17:09.58) and 16th in the 3,000 meters (9:54.67) at the Mountain West Indoor Championships… Set a career best in the mile with a time of 4:59.83, which ranks sixth all-time in school history, as she took 87th and set a career-best in the 3,000 meters at the Washington-hosted Husky Classic with a time of 9:33.25, which ranks fifth all-time in school history… Finished fourth in the 5,000 meters with a season best time of 16:29.30, which ranks fifth in school history, at the Washington Invitational.
Outdoor: Placed 37th in the 10,000 meters with a time of 35:49.68 at the NCAA West First Rounds… Finished third in the 10,000 meters with a time of 34:17.99 at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships… Set a season best in the 10,000 meters with a time of 33:34.62, which ranks third in school history, as she won her section at the Stanford Invitational.
2023 (SO)
Cross Country (2022): Finished 51st with a 6K time of 21:12.9 at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships… Placed 24th with a 6K time of 20:38.8 at the Mountain West Championships, helping the Aggies place third as a team… Placed 54th with a 6K time of 20:28.2 at the Lehigh-hosted Paul Short Run to help Utah State place fourth out of 46 teams… The second Aggie to cross the finish line at the Wisconsin-hosted Nuttycombe Invitational, placing 100th with a 6K time of 20:55.1.
Indoor: Placed fifth in the 3,000 meters at the Mountain West Indoor Championships with a season-best time of 10:00.70, also placing eighth in the 5,000 meters with a time of 17:10.00… Placed 42nd in the 5,000 meters at the Washington-hosted Husky Classic with a season-best time of 16:43.27, ranking seventh all-time at USU.
Outdoor: Placed ninth in the 10,000 meters at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships with a time of 35:18.33… Finished 24th in the 10,000 meters at the Stanford Invitational with a season-best time of 34:25.85, ranking fourth all-time at USU.
2022 (FR)
Cross Country (2021): Placed 218th at the NCAA Championships with a time of 21:23.6 as Utah State finished 28th as a team… Was the third Aggie finisher at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships, placing 43rd overall with a time of 21:25.4 to help USU to a seventh-place finish… Finished 35th with a time of 20:53.6 at the Mountain West Championships to help Utah State to a second-place team finish, its best ever since joining the league… Made her collegiate debut by placing first overall with a time of 18:15.0 at the season-opening Utah State-hosted Sagebrush Invitational… Garnered her first MW Freshman of the Week accolade after finishing fourth overall and first for Utah State with a time of 16:33.40 at the Montana State Cross Country Classic, helping lead the Aggies to the team title… Earned her second MW Freshman of the Week honor after she placed 28th with a time of 20:39.7 at the Lehigh-hosted Paul Short Run to help Utah State to a third-place finish out of 38 teams… Finished 105th with a time of 21:20.3 at the Wisconsin-hosted Nuttycombe Invitational.
Indoor: Placed 11th in the 5,000 meters with a season-best time of 17:05.32, which ranks seventh all-time in school history, at the Washington Invitational … Finished ninth in the 3,000 meters with a season-best time of 10:21.48 at the New Mexico-hosted Don Kirby Elite Invitational.
Outdoor: Placed 10th in the 10,000 meters with a season-best time of 34:58.47, which ranks fifth all-time in program history, at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships… Won the 5,000-meter title with a season-best time of 17:00.67 at the Fresno State Invitational… Placed fifth in the 1,500 meters with a career-best time of 4:41.02 at the Utah State-hosted Aggie Invitational … Opened the season by placing sixth in the 5,000 meters with a time of 17:02.17 at the San Francisco State-hosted Mike Fanelli Track Classic.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Layton (Utah) High School, where she won an individual state title at the 2020 6A cross country championships, helping lead the Lancers to a third-place finish… Layton HS captured the region title in cross country that same year… Three-time all-state honoree… Set school records in the 1,600 and 3,200 meters, and the 3-mile run… Graduated from Layton HS with a 4.0 GPA.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Jonathan and Rebekah Thornley… Has four brothers and sisters… Mother, Rebekah, was an all-conference distance runner as a member of Utah State’s cross country and track & field teams and broke the Utah State record in the 1,500 meters in 2001… Majoring in kinesiology.
