LOGAN, Utah – Utah State head gymnastics coach Kristin White announced the addition of three future Aggies on Wednesday. The list includes Leighton Didier (Diddy-a), Julia Gothers (Gaw-thers) and Stella Guth (G-oo-th).
"We are thrilled to welcome these three incredible women to our program," said White. "They all come from some of the most prestigious club programs in the country. Their technique and skill level will be a tremendous asset to our team. We look forward to Aggie Nation seeing Leighton, Julia, and Stella in the Spectrum in 2027. We are excited to welcome our dynamic freshmen trio."

Leighton Didier | Fort Worth, Texas | Empire Gymnastics
Didier has trained at Empire Gymnastics in Bedford, Texas, for six years under the direction of Chris Brashier, Beatrice Mihaila, and Marcus Harlin.
Didier is a five-time national qualifier. In 2025, she was the Texas State Champion in the all-around, vault, bars and beam and was the Region 3 Regional Champion in the all-around, beam, and floor. In 2024, Didier placed third on floor at the National Championship, was the Texas State Champion on beam and floor and the Region 3 Regional Champion on floor. In 2023, Didier placed third on beam at the National Championship and was the Region 3 Regional Champion on beam and floor. In 2021, Didier was the Texas State Champion in the all-around.
"Leighton is a beautiful gymnast," said White. "Her presentation and showmanship are showstopping. We are thrilled to welcome an incredible all-around athlete to our program. She will make immediate impacts in our lineups from day one. Her charismatic personality and work ethic will be a great addition to our team."
The daughter of Johnathan and Reamelle Didier is set to graduate from ABEKA Academy online, located in Pensacola, Fla., in 2026.
"I chose Utah State because it felt like home and the program has the same values that have been instilled in me in faith, family, and friends," said Didier. "I liked how the community is a big part of USU. It is warm and inviting and all my coaches and teammates welcomed me into the program.
"What I'm looking forward to the most about being an Aggie is forming new relationships with my coaches and teammates that will help me grow. I know I will have an amazing support system at USU and I am excited for the college experience."

Julia Gothers | McKinney, Texas | WOGA Plano Gymnastics
Gothers has trained at WOGA Plano Gymnastics in McKinney, Texas, for seven years under the direction of Evgeniya Artemova and Eduard Vavilov. She is a 2025 national qualifier and was a silver medalist on floor and bronze medalist on vault and floor at regionals. In 2025, she placed second in the all-around and on bars at the Texas State Championships.
"Julia will be another great all-around addition to our program," said White. "Her vault will make an immediate impact on our program. Her technique and lines will be a great addition to our team. We look forward to seeing her make impacts in our lineups her freshman year. She has a very bright future as an Aggie."
The daughter of Steven and Emma Gothers is set to graduate from Emerson High School in 2026.
"I chose Utah State because from the moment I met the coaches and team it instantly felt like home," said Gothers. "Their value of hard work, positivity, and family is everything I was looking for. I knew it was the perfect place for me to grow as both a gymnast and a person.
"I am so excited to officially become and Aggie and train alongside such an inspiring and driven team. I can't wait to compete in the Spectrum and represent the Aggies!"

Stella Guth | Stillwater, Minnesota | Flips Gymnastics
Guth has trained at Flips Gymnastics in Stillwater, Minnesota, for five years under the direction of Lori Roskoski and Bart Roskoski. She is a 2024 national qualifier and a 2024 and 2025 regional qualifier. In 2024, she was the region champion on beam.
"Stella is a beautiful gymnast," said White. "Her grace and form will be a great asset to our team. We believe that Stella is starting to do her best gymnastics now and we are thrilled to have her in her peak as an Aggie. We have had great success with many athletes from the state of Minnesota, and we are thrilled to be adding her and her family to our program."
The daughter of Jake and Amanda Guth is set to graduate from Hill-Murray High School in 2026.
"I chose Utah State because of the strong sense of passion and family I felt in the community," said Guth. "I know the coaches and team will make this is an environment I can continue to grow in, and I can't wait to see what the future holds.
"I am looking forward to getting to grow and build new relationships with my teammates and coaches. I can't wait to be part of such a strong support system and contribute to the success of the program. Go Aggies."
