Utah State Announces 2025-26 Indoor Track & Field Schedule

LOGAN, Utah – Utah State's Director of Track & Field and Cross Country Artie Gulden announced on Tuesday the program's indoor schedule for the 2025-26 campaign.

The indoor slate features 15 meets, including the Mountain West Indoor Championships (Feb. 26-28 in Reno, Nevada) and the NCAA Indoor Championships (March 13-14, in Fayetteville, Arkansas).

Utah State will host one event during the indoor campaign, the Roman Ruiz Speed and Power Invite, on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 30-31, at the George Nelson Fieldhouse.


 
Utah State's indoor season begins with the BYU December Invitational on Wednesday-Thursday, Dec. 10-11, and the Idaho State Winter Open on Friday, Dec. 12. Following the holidays, USU will return to action on the weekend of Jan. 9-10 when it competes at the Weber State Indoor Invitational.
 
The Aggies will travel back to Pocatello, Idaho, on Thursday-Saturday, Jan. 15-17, for the Idaho State-hosted Snake River Open. Utah State will then split its squad at the New Mexico-hosted Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Invitational in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and the Texas A&M-hosted Ted Nelson Invitational on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 23-24.
 
USU will split up its squad the following weekend, as the Aggies host their lone home meet of the indoor season, the Roman Ruiz Speed and Power Invitational, and travel to the UW Invitational in Seattle, Washington, on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 30-31.
 
On Friday, Feb. 6, the Aggies will head back north to Bozeman, Montana, for the Montana State-hosted Carignan Classic. USU will conclude their regular season on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 13-14, at four different meets across the country. Utah State will be represented at the Arkansas-hosted Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the UNM-hosted Don Kirby Invitational in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the Washington-hosted Husky Classic in Seattle, Washington, and the ISU-hosted Mountain State Games in Pocatello, Idaho.
 
Utah State will compete for six straight weekends from mid-January through the middle of February before taking a week off in preparation for the MW Indoor Championships, hosted for the first time by Nevada, from Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 26-28.
 
The NCAA Indoor National Championships will be held two weeks later from Mar. 13-14, in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
