LOGAN, Utah – Utah State's gymnastics team will hold its annual Blue & White Intrasquad Meet on Monday, Dec. 15, inside the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum at 6 p.m.
The Aggies will perform judged routines on the vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise in a competition-style format. Admission is free and open to the public.
During the meet, there will be a visit from Santa Claus, who will be available from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Following the meet, Utah State will host a kid's clinic.
For kids 12 and under, there will be a free post-meet clinic with the Aggie gymnasts and coaching staff. Parents will need to fill out waivers at the marketing table located in front of Section S on the concourse before the event.
2026 Schedule
Utah State officially opens its season on Monday, Jan. 12, when it travels to West Valley City, Utah, to face in-state rivals BYU, Southern Utah and Utah in the seventh annual Les Olson IT Best of Utah Meet. The quad meet, which will be held at the Maverik Center, will begin at 7 p.m.
Utah State has six home meets scheduled for the 2026 season, beginning with a dual against Southern Utah on Saturday, Jan. 17, at noon. USU will host Mountain West foe San José State on Friday, Jan. 23, at 6:30 p.m. USU will host a quad meet on Monday Feb. 9, against Alaska, Sacramento State and Southern Utah at 6:30 p.m. USU will host MW opponents Boise State and Air Force on Friday, Feb. 20 and Friday, Feb. 27, respectively, at 6:30 p.m. USU will host future Pac-12 opponent Oregon State on Friday, March 6, at 6:30 p.m.
It is the first time Utah State will have six home meets since the 2009 season. Fans will also notice different start times during the 2026 competition season. Its home opener on Saturday, Jan. 17, is part of a doubleheader with women's basketball and will begin at noon, while its remaining home meets will all begin at 6:30 p.m.
Roster
The Aggies return nine letterwinners and 12 total gymnasts from last year's team that won the 2025 Mountain West Championship, its seventh conference title in program history, and qualified for NCAA Regionals for the 28th time in program history.
Among those returning for Utah State include a trio of first-team All-Mountain West performers in senior Avery Bibbey (bars), junior Nyla Morabito (vault, floor), and junior Sydney Jelen (beam). Four more returners earned second-team All-MW honors a year ago in junior Isabella Vater (floor), and sophomores Kaylie Medrano (vault), Olivia Orengo (floor) and Lundyn VanderToolen (bars). Also returning is graduate Amari Evans, senior Marley Peterson, senior Chelsea Southam, junior Mya Witte and junior Hattie Wright.
Utah State welcomes six newcomers to this year's team in freshmen Anabelle Dewey (Mount Juliet, Tenn.), Mara Gruber (Arden Hills, Mich.), Brylea Johnson (Plymouth, Minn.), Charley Laufer (Grand Rapids, Mich.), Alianna Valdez (Huntington Beach, Calif.) and Sienna Yelle (Scottsdale, Ariz.).
